"We wish you a memorable
Christmas"
18.12.11
REVELLERS in Inishowen
have been urged to have a "memorable" Christmas by
enjoying alcohol responsibly.
The North West Alcohol Forum has issued a guide for
the festive season to promote moderate drinking,
staying safe and looking out for others. |
“For many in Ireland,
Christmas will come as a welcome break after a tough
year for everyone. We want you to enjoy the
festivities, get a release from the stresses and
maintain a balance so that the holiday memories are
long and pleasant ones," said Forum director, Eamon
O'Kane.
HSE West Drug and Alcohol Services manager, Moira
Mills, welcomed the Forum’s Christmas information
campaign. She said messages promoting safe drinking,
"are always needed".
“The Alcohol Forum is providing a huge support to
the communities of the North West and indeed
nationally in their work on tackling alcohol-related
harm and working with families. |
|
Their Christmas
resource is another valuable resource in helping to
build community understanding and action on alcohol
harms." Get a copy of the festive leaflet by
