A WHOPPING 816 students

The 816 are among 30,000 entries received from
students in each of the 32 counties. |

The number of entries
from Donegal is significantly higher than last year
when 593 students took part.
"This outcome has helped Donegal become the eleventh
highest county in Ireland in terms of entries
received – a level of participation that explains
why Donegal students have taken top prizes in the
event in recent years," said a Texaco Children's Art
Competition spokesperson.
Judging of entries is currently taking place and
winners will be announced in early April. This will
be followed by the prize-giving ceremony in May. |
