Inish shops invited for 'therapy'
17.03.11
RECESSION-HIT shops in
Inishowen are being invited to take part in RTÉ's
popular retail advice programme 'Feargal Quinn's
Retail Therapy'.
Former supermarket supreme Quinn offers advice on
the show to retailers trying to make it in the
current economic climate.
Animo TV and RTÉ are now seeking independent
retailers in Co Donegal to take part in the third
series of the show.
"The programme is looking to champion independent
Irish retailers who represent individuality on the
streets of Ireland’s towns and cities," said Animo
spokesperson, Emer Dunne. Ms Dunne said there had
been no participants so far from the North West and
the producers were keen to include the area. |

"Feargal will help
these businesses to eradicate their weaknesses,
exploit their strengths and identify a unique
selling point which will make them stand out from
the competition and attract customers to their
door."
The previous two series enjoyed great TV ratings and
participating businesses reported improvements in
both sales and staff morale as a result of their
involvement, say the producers.
The series will be aired at the start of 2012 and
filming will take place over the next six months.
The producers are looking for all kinds of shops, so
anyone interested should get in touch either by
emailing
retailtherapy@animo.ie or by calling Emer on 01
