Radio is to air a new mini-series highlighting the
travels to South America of one of its interns.
David Manero has returned from a two-month journey
to Bolivia and the highest capital city in the
world, La Paz.
He captured his memories and incredible experiences
in a travel diary that will feature in the new ICRfm

David, a final year
student at the University of East Anglia in Norwich,
interned at ICRfm during summer 2010. He was well
and truly bitten by the radio bug.
"I absolutely loved my time at ICRfm. The priceless
experience I obtained from the radio station only
cemented my feeling that a career in broadcasting is
the way to go," he said.
After his stint in Inishowen, David travelled to
Bolivia where he conducted field research for his
dissertation on community radio.
Now back in Britain, David has narrated his diary
entries into a frank and entertaining audio account
of the expedition.
The new series will be broadcast as part of ICRfm's
Thursday TalkTime programme at 4.35pm beginning
February 10. |
