The North West College
experienced an increased demand for courses in 2010,
resulting in a rise in student numbers.
Meanwhile, 2011 will be a milestone year for the
college with the opening of a new £20m development
at the Strand Road Campus. The expansion includes a
new 150-seat modern theatre, dance studios, music
recording, technology and performance spaces as well
as hairdressing and beauty therapy salons
overlooking the River Foyle and new workshops for
construction and engineering programmes.
