Good turn-out for
Inishowen Women's Outreach AGM

THERE was a strong
attendance at the recent annual general meeting of
domestic abuse campaign group, Inishowen Women's
Outreach (IWO)
The attendees also included representatives from
Inishowen Women's Information Network, Inishowen
Men's Help Line, Action Inishowen, Care of the Aged
and other interested members of the community.
"IWO would like to take this opportunity to thank
all the funders, the community at large and the
businesses throughout Inishowen for their support
over the years to allow us to continue this
much-valued service," said a spokesperson. |

"We would also like to
thank the Inishowen Development Partnership for
their support and use of their offices. IWO will
continue to work closely with all relevant services
and the community to ensure the safety and wellbeing
of the women and children we work with." Inishowen
Women's Outreach provide the following confidential
services: Helpline; Information; Advocacy; Drop in
service; Outreach services; Court Accompaniment;
Support Group; Counselling for Women; Counselling
for Children; Training Programmes and Awareness
Programmes. IWO is funded by the HSE, Commission for
the Support of Victims of Crime, the Department of
Justice, Equality and Law Reform, Pobal, the Family
Support Agency, the Department of Social Protection,
COSC and Inishowen Development Partnership. |
