Luckily, the driver who
is in his late 50s, had already been taken to
hospital with minor injuries and was discharged a
short time later. He was the sole occupant of the
vehicle. The single-car smash happened about 11.30am
when the car left the main road and landed in a
litter-strewn field at Umricam. Fire service and
ambulance personnel attended the scene. Gardai are
