€200,000 fund for North West
start-ups

INISHOWEN start-ups and
entrepreneurs involved in the food or technology
sectors may be eligible for funding of up to €25,000
under a new scheme.
Enterprise Ireland has launched the €200,000
Competitive Feasibility Fund aimed at stimulating
start ups and creating jobs in the North West
including Donegal, Leitrim and Sligo.
The fund is open to applications from the
information technology, industrial and food sectors
incorporating the following sub-sectors: internet,
games, cloud computing, enterprise software,
telecoms, lifesciences, cleantech and industrial
products. |

Minister for Small
Business, John Perry TD said: “This fund is directed
at helping an individual entrepreneur or new
start-up company to develop a high growth indigenous
business that will create the jobs of the future we
desire in the North West region.
"I urge people with strong job-creation potential to
come forward and compete for the funds available. In
this way we can create high-growth, job-creating
businesses in the region."
Closing date for applications is Friday, June 22.
