OFFICIALS from the
Football Association of Ireland (FAI) including ceo
John Delaney will visit Buncrana Hearts football
club next week.
The visit, at midday on Monday, July 16, is part of
the FAI's AGM which takes place in Donegal over the
week.
Buncrana Hearts PRO, Rory Kelly, said the FAI
officials will meet local officials regarding the
new 'Football For All' team at the club.
This team is the first of its kind in the North
West, and it will be run in conjunction with local
group Inishowen Children's Autism Related Education
(iCARE) as well as Special Olympics Ireland. It is a
community-wide move, that will see the establishment
of another team within Buncrana Hearts.
Rory said: "It's an exciting prospect for the club.
As it is a community-wide move, we are looking for
the support of people in Buncrana and Inishowen, for
what will become a very important part of Buncrana
Hearts."
Buncrana Hearts has invited all players, past and
present, as well as club members and the community
to attend. For more information, contact Rory at
