Hats off to local graduates

INISHOWEN graduates were among the 800 students who
achieved honours at the North West Regional
College's graduation ceremony for 2012.
The ceremony, at the Millennium Forum, celebrated
the achievements of full-time and part-time students
from a range of higher education and access
programmes at the Derry college. Awards were given
in fields such as art & design, business, computing,
hairdressing and early years childcare. |

College chief
executive, Seamus Murphy said: “North West Regional
College is very proud of every student who had their
academic achievement recognised at our graduation
ceremonies. These marked the culmination of their
hard work and endeavour at the college, and each
individual has now achieved a recognised vocational
qualification, boosted their confidence and are well
placed to make an invaluable contribution to the
