A Sharing Fair is to be
held next month in Muff and Moville. The Sharing
Fair is a project of the Good Shepherd Sisters and
offers beautifully crafted items made by women in
developing countries. Most often these women and
girls are responsible for supporting their families.
Local people can make a difference by purchasing
their products at the Sharing Fair as all proceeds
are returned to the women in the form of new orders
- providing them with hope, dignity and
sustainability.
The crafts on sale will include many Christmas gifts
so go along and start your Christmas shopping while
at the same time helping to better the lives of
women in developing countries.
The Sharing Fair will take place in the Methodist
Hall, Moville, from 10am-5pm on Saturday, October 6,
2012 and in St Mary's Hall, Muff, on October 13 and
14 after the Saturday evening Mass and the Sunday
Masses. |
