BUNCRANA Hearts FC is
looking to appoint a voluntary technical director in
line with its five year strategic development plan.
The successful applicant will be expected to lead
the overall mandate of the club to develop every
player and coach involved in its programs.
The new technical director will have a senior
leadership role and will report to the club
committee.
"The technical director will establish and promote
the club's overall Technical Development Plan and
drive overall communication to parents, coaches and
players on the development philosophy of the club.
"Due to the size and scope of Buncrana Hearts FC's
programmes, this role is not primarily an on-pitch
coaching role. Instead, the technical director is
responsible for leading the development of some 30
club coaches, in order to effect the development of
the club's entire player base," said club PRO, Rory
Kelly. The successful applicant will also be
expected to work with external stakeholders,
including the Football Association of Ireland and
other League bodies to ensure the club's players are
optimally developed when they play and train outside
of the club. For information on applying for the
role you can contact David Henry, secretary,
