The fire rages at the derelict Swilly
Hotel overnight. |
The disused 19th
century hotel lies close to neighbouring houses at
Swilly Terrace and traffic diversions are in place.
The ferry at Buncrana Pier will not undertake any
sailings today until the road has reopened. Nobody
was hurt in the fire but locals will be nostalgic
for the loss of one of the town's best known
landmarks. |
