roots level across the county and reached across the
globe bringing people from near and far together to
reminisce, celebrate and reconnect”.
County manager, Seamus Neely added: “Donegal was one
of the few counties that produced a dedicated
website that was used to collate all information
surrounding Donegal Gathering into an online medium
that was highly interactive and engaging providing a
digital platform for those throughout the world with
an interest in Donegal to access the most up-to-date
information regarding events. This website,
www.donegalgathering.com has attracted almost
150,000 worldwide hits to date and Donegal County
Council is committed to driving this digital
platform to showcase the world class events we have
in this county”. |
