DONEGAL politician,
Senator Jimmy Harte, is today being treated for
serious head injuries at a Dublin hospital after
being discovered collapsed in the capital city in
the early hours. |

The Labour
representative was found at Newmarket Square in the
south inner city at about 3am on Saturday. The
55-year old had earlier attended the Ireland v
Latvia match at the Aviva statium in Ballsbridge.
Gardaí are looking for CCTV footage of the area in a
bid to ascertain whether the Letterkenny businessman
suffered an accidental fall. He is being treated for
his injuries at Beaumont Hospital. A former Finn
Harps FC chairman and keen sportsman, Senator Harte
has run 12 marathons raising over €30,000 for a
number of charities. |
