Mental Health Roadshow in Buncrana

DONEGAL Youth Council
will take their SPARKS Mental Health Roadshow to
Inishowen today.
The roadshow, which kicked off in Letterkenny on
World Mental Health Day, will today work with 200
representatives from Carndonagh Community School,
Scoil Mhuire Buncrana, Crana College in Buncrana,
Moville Community College, Colaiste Chineal Eoghain
and Youthreach Buncrana.
It is an initiative developed by young people for
young people and will have input today from a range
of organisations including Jigsaw, Donegal Youth
Service, HSE Health Promotion, Foroige and Mental
Health Ireland. |

The roadshow offers
information and advice on how to manage stress in
your life and other difficult situations and how to
be more aware of what supports you have around you
and how you can be a support to others.
There will be a number of guest speakers at the
roadshow which gets underway in the Plaza at 10am
and runs until 3pm. |
