Adam Rory Porter has captured another beautiful
sight in the night skies of Urris, Inishowen, this
week.
He explains: "My father in law and I headed out to
attempt to catch the Aurora Borealis/Northern Lights
(Tuesday) and whilst unsuccessful we captured a
number of other rare phenomena.
"The beautiful Milky Way rose high across Lough
Swilly and the green wisps you can see are known as
airglow / nightglow. Fanad Head lighthouse stands
watch to the right. We're so lucky to live in this
part of the world." |
