Your guide to Greencastle Clipper
events and Red Arrows Air Show

From Wednesday 25th
June the public can visit Greencastle to enjoy a
close view of the clipper yachts on the water as
they host corporate races off Greencastle from the
25th to 27th June.
On Thursday 25th Moville Boat Club will host an open
Invitational Cruisers race. From Friday 26th there
will be live music in the local bars, the fun pub
tour will also be back in service, Fun Fair will be
in the Village over the weekend.
On Sunday 29th celebrations will kick-off with the
Red Arrows from 2.45pm followed by the
Clipper Race start at 3.45 pm. |

Traffic Restrictions
Traffic restriction will be in place from 12.00pm on
Sunday, June 29.
Road Closure: Greencastle Village Road (R241), from
Kealey’s Seafood Bar through the village to the
Fishery School.
Alternative Route:
Greencastle to Casey’s Corner (R241), Upper Shrove
Road (LP1471-1), Poundtown Road (LS6091-2).
Park and Ride Service – A Park and Ride Service will
be available from Moville with Pick-Up/Drop Off
Points at :
· Main Street, Moville
· Queensport, Greencastle
* Parking restrictions will be in place at the
Poundtown Road and immediate approaches to the
village.
* As part of the Clipper return and home team
welcome, Derry City will be hosting the LegenDerry
Maritime Festival from 21st – 29th June. For more
