"One of the best
things, I think, about Inishowen in County Donegal
is our night skies. When there's a wee break in the
weather our dark skies light up with a billion stars
which are just so easy to see up here," Adam
explained.
"Initially we had cloud and haze but when we arrived
at Leenan Fort in Urris, the air cleared and the
stars beamed down."
Adam, who is PRO of Buncrana Camera Club, said new
members are always welcome - regardless of whether
you are a complete novice or a seasoned
professional.
The group meets in the function room of O'Flaherty's
bar in Buncrana at 7.30pm on Tuesday evenings -
except when they're out on field trips hunting for
stunning snaps.
