PEOPLE in Donegal are
invited next week to a public information meeting
where details of the new €70m cancer Radiotherapy
Unit will be outlined.
The cross-border unit, located at Altnagelvin
Hospital, is to be completed next year and will
serve more than 500,000 people across the North
West.
It will work closely with a number of specialist
oncology centres including those located at Belfast
City Hospital and Letterkenny General Hospital.
The NW Radiotherapy Unit will be funded by the
Department of Health Social Services in the North
and the Department of Health and Children in the
Republic.
The Western Health and Social Care Trust has invited
people to learn what the new centre will offer at a
series of public meetings in counties Donegal,
Derry, Tyrone and Fermanagh. The Donegal meeting
will take place at Letterkenny General Hospital on
Monday, November 16, 2015 at 6pm. Everyone welcome. |
