Quigley's Point remembers much-loved Georgia 04.03.15

QUIGLEY'S POINT Community Centre will host a youth disco this Friday in memory of local teenager Georgia Doherty and to raise funds for her older sister Lisa who is still recovering in hospital.
Georgia (13) died tragically and Lisa (26) was injured in a road crash just outside Derry less than two weeks ago.
The Quigley’s Point centre will host its popular 'Radioactive Disco' to remember youth club member Georgia and raise money to assist in Lisa's recovery.
The sisters, from Clar, Redcastle, were on their way home from Belfast when their car was involved in a collision on the Glenshane Road on February 22.
Quigley’s Point Community Centre said bubbly Georgia was a very popular member of its kids and youth club.
“Georgia was a regular attendee at the youth club and was a much-loved member of the community," said a spokesperson.
“As requested by the members of the youth club, a Radioactive Disco will be held this Friday, March 6, in memory of Georgia and in aid of her sister Lisa. Everyone is asked to wear a sports jersey or bright colours to represent Georgia's love for sport and her bright personality.”

Avid soccer supporter Georgia was honoured by Celtic FC ahead of its game against Aberdeen last weekend. A message on its digital billboard at Parkhead said: “RIP our Celtic Angel”.
The Quigley's Point Radioactive Junior Disco will take place from 7.45pm to 9pm - admission €3. The Teen Disco will take place from 9.30pm to 11.30pm - admission €5.
