Motocross fans to flock to
Inishowen Quad Safari

MOTOCROSS fans will
flock to Inishowen Quad Safari's fantastic new track
in Linsfort, Buncrana, this Saturday, for the fourth
round of the Irish Youth Motocross Championships.
This is the first national championship standard
event to run at this well-received new venue and the
only round of championship to in the North West.
It is expected to attract all the top young
Motocross riders in all age groups from all over
Ireland.
The competitors will compete to be crowned Irish
Champion in their respective categories by
demonstrating the skills that make them top of their
individual classes.
There will also be local interest on Saturday as
many of Errigal Motorcycle Club’s own youth members
will be riding at the event. |

Among the Errigal MCC
members who are Irish Championship regulars are
young Curtis McDermott from Buncrana for whom this
event will be very much on home turf.
Curtis is currently lying fourth overall in the
Irish 85cc (Big Wheeled) class standings heading
into this round.
Other Errigal MCC members include Jason McCauley
from Derry who lies fifth overall in the senior
premier class.
"There is a real buzz amongst the MX fraternity
about the mouth-watering prospect of racing for the
first time for most at the new and excellently
prepared Inishowen Quad Safari Track," said a
spokesperson. The event is free to spectators with
practice starting at 9.30am and racing at 11am. |
