Ms Docherty told of her
passion and love for Donegal and recalled many of
her visits there.
She was particularly impressed with the cover of the
brochure which features Mount Errigal and reminded
her of the view from her own holiday home where she
frequently visits with her extended family, said a
Council spokesperson.
Donegal Tourism chairman Seamus Neely emphasised the
strong relationship between both areas and said
Scottish accents were commonplace in Donegal.
Council Cathaoirleach, Cllr John Campbell said the
new brochure, which outlined the county's facilities
and attractions, was being well received.
Donegal Tourism representatives also took advantage
of the high footfall in St Enoch’s shopping centre
in Glasgow to distribute the brochure. |
