Couples say 'I do' to The Red Door

THE Red Door Country
House in Fahan has scooped the title of 'Wedding
Restaurant Venue of the Year 2015' at the national
Mrs2Be awards held this week.
It may seem like a case of déjà vu for the popular
wedding venue as the same title was awarded to it
just earlier this year by Weddings Online, Ireland's
other top online wedding resource.
Both awards were gained from the quality of reviews
from couples who celebrated their special day at The
Red Door, as well as being judged by a panel of
industry experts.
Weddings and civil ceremonies held at the 18th
century country house overlooking Lough Swilly, have
grown in popularity in the past several years.
The restaurant can seat up to 160 guests, and is
extremely popular with smaller weddings of 80-120

The latest award comes
in the same week as a number of Inishowen
restaurants, including The Red Door, received the
highly-coveted TripAdvisor Certificate of
Excellence.
