INISHOWEN festival
organisers have been urged to apply for funding for
next year under a Fáilte Ireland scheme.
The Regional Festivals and Participative Events
Programme supported 205 events across the country
last year to the value of more than €690,000.
Fáilte Ireland’s head of evaluation and research,
Caeman Wall said the organisation looked forward to
receiving applications from festivals across
Donegal.
"(Festivals) play a role in generating local
employment and community engagement. We are
delighted to be opening the application process for
next year and look forward to receiving applications
from County Donegal," he said.
Applications close at 12 noon on Monday, January 16,
2017.
