Red Cross receives €35,000 'Flood
Aid' cash

THE Red Cross in Co
Donegal has received a cheque for €35,000, the
proceeds of the 'Flood Aid' concert organised
immediately after the devastating floods that hit
the county last month.
Representatives from the humanitarian charity,
concert organiser, Deirdre Grant and Irish Red Cross
chairman Pat Carey were among speakers at the cheque
presentation in Letterkenny last night. |

Daniel O'Donnell, who was among the top acts at the
special country music charity event, sent a special
