The young feline was
found hiding in a drainage pipe on the building site
in Ardara, Co Donegal, on Saturday morning.
She is now in the care of Animals in Need Donegal
who said the kitten may have ended up on the site
after falling from a car engine.
"It was found that she had an injury to her lower
lip. This is an injury we often see on kittens who
have fallen out of car engines.
"She has been crying all day, clearly missing her
family but she was delighted to join our youngest
group (of kittens) and stopped crying immediately
when she found company," the animal sanctuary said
