Paddy Mullen said: “The project is about improving
energy efficiency within our communities and to do
this we are keen to hear from the public on their
own energy consumption, their knowledge on how best
to reduce energy costs and what information they
need to have in order to make greater energy savings
in their own homes and businesses."
He added: "This short survey should take no longer
than five minutes to complete and will provide us
with valuable information that will help guide us in
providing better and clearer information to the
public on how to improve energy efficiency and save
more on energy costs."
The ERNACT network is the lead partner for the
three-year SECURE project with Donegal and Leitrim
(Ireland); Derry City & Strabane (UK); Nova Scotia
(Canada), Faroe Islands, North Karelia (Finland) and
Västernorrland County (Sweden) included in its drive
to develop energy-smart communities.
