DONEGAL is set to
benefit from a major advertising campaign aiming to
attract UK holidaymakers to the Wild Atlantic Way,
says Fáilte Ireland.
The tourism agency, in conjunction with Donegal
County Council and three other local authorities,
have launched a new €500,000 Wild Atlantic Way
advertising campaign in Britain. The campaign urges
people to embrace the 'Wild Atlantic Way of Life'
and will be run in prime commuter locations and city
centres across the UK. It will be carried on city
taxis and on Classic FM radio. |

Fáilte Ireland head of
the Wild Atlantic Way, Fiona Monaghan, said: "This
campaign allows us to raise international awareness
of the route as a must-see visitor experience in key
strategic locations such as Donegal, which offer
ease of access and great potential for the short
break market. |
