DONEGAL County Council
has closed all its offices for the remainder of this
week as the county awaits the arrival of Storm Emma
and its imminent clash with the so-called Beast from
the East. On foot of the status Level Red weather
alert, and taking into account the expected timeline
for the storm, the local authority has closed all
its public buildings including libraries. They will
remain closed to the public tomorrow, Friday.
The council is asking the public to avoid
non-essential travel and remain indoors and to heed
the advice issued by agencies via local and national
media.
These updates are also being carried on the
council’s social media channels.
Essential and emergency response services including
gritters will continue to be provided. |
