Good Causes Awards deadline looms

THE National Lottery
today reminded people in Inishowen to get their
applications in on behalf of their local sports
club, community project or organisation for the
inaugural National Lottery Good Causes Awards. The
deadline for entries for this competition, which has
a total prize pool of €95,000, is less than two
weeks away, on Friday 13th July.
This significant new awards initiative will
celebrate the extraordinary work being carried out
by individuals, organisations and clubs which are
making an incredible difference in communities all
over Ireland in recent years. |

Almost 30 cent in every
€1 spent on National Lottery games – or over
€619,000 per day – goes back to good causes all over
the country in the areas of Sports, Arts, Culture,
Heritage, Community, Health, Youth and the Irish
Language. Last year alone more than €226 million was
raised by players of National Lottery games for such
good causes.

can enter and check eligibility at
