Play your part to help grow tourism in Inishowen 21.01.20

FÁILTE Ireland is inviting Inishowen tourism businesses, community groups, as well as all other interested parties and individuals, from Muff to Malin Head, to take part in a series of workshops running from 27th – 30th January.
The workshops will concentrate on pulling together stories, ideas, and opportunities that could be used to boost tourism in Inishowen. The workshops will take place in four locations; Buncrana, Ballyliffin, Carndonagh and Redcastle.
The findings from the workshops will feed into a Visitor Experience Development Plan, which will outline ways to improve the benefits of tourism for all communities in the area.

Inishowen event venues and dates are as follows:
• Monday, January 27th, 2pm – 4pm at Inishowen Gateway Hotel, Buncrana
• Tuesday, January 28th, 6:30pm - 8:30pm at Ballyliffin Town House Hotel, Ballyliffin
• Wednesday, January 29th, 2pm – 4pm at Colgan Hall, Carndonagh
• Thursday, January 30th, 6:30pm - 8:30pm at Redcastle Hotel, Redcastle

Culdaff beach on the Wild Atlantic Way.
Anyone wishing to attend the workshops can confirm attendance by emailing Lorna Demmel, Lorna.Demmel@failteireland.ie .
If you cannot attend a workshop but would like to contribute to the discussion you may also submit your ideas to David Leonard, David.Leonard@failteireland.ie or phone 086 0266448.
The aim of the Visitor Experience Development Plan is to improve the range and quality of experiences available to our visitors and ultimately enable continued growth in visitor numbers, dwell time and spend, helping to extend the tourism season and spread business across all parts of the peninsula.
Joan Crawford, Wild Atlantic Way Manager at Fáilte Ireland explains: “Local consultation and input is essential if we are going to produce a plan that works for the visitor and for the local economy. We look forward to welcoming everyone to these workshops to share their knowledge and ideas.”
