Donegal player scoops €1m Lotto

SOMEONE in Donegal has
woken up, this morning, as Ireland’s latest Lotto
millionaire as the winning ticket for Wednesday
night’s Lotto Plus 1 draw, worth €1 million, was
sold in the north west.
There was no winner of the €5,165,312 Lotto jackpot
on offer which now heads for a massive €5.5 million
on Saturday.
Last night’s winning Lotto Plus 1 numbers which are
worth €1 million to one lucky player in Donegal
were: 06, 09, 17, 18, 25, 27 and the bonus ball was
05.
A National Lottery spokesperson said it hopes to
reveal the name of the winning store in the north
west which sold the €1 million Lotto Plus 1 top
prize, on Friday. |

Meanwhile, the National
Lottery have also announced that this St. Patrick’s
weekend is extra special for Lotto players across
the country. On top of the truly life-changing €5.5
million Lotto jackpot up for grabs this Saturday
(March 14th) , there is an additional €1 million
guaranteed extra prize money to be won with
Saturday’s Lotto Plus draw.
A National Lottery spokesperson said today that the
extra Lotto prize pot of €1 million will be perfect
way for players to kick-off the St. Patrick’s
weekend celebrations. They said: “The additional
€1,000,000 Lotto Plus Raffle prize fund up for grabs
in Saturday’s Lotto Plus Raffle draw will be shared
evenly by all Lotto Plus raffle winners. Normally
Lotto Plus raffle winners get a guaranteed €500 in
every draw, but this Saturday we expect each winner
to receive between €8,000 and €12,500 extra,
depending on the number of winners. What a way to
start off the St. Patrick’s celebrations!” |
