Couples say "we do" to Leanne
17.03.10
A Buncrana-based
wedding stationery maker, Creative Invites, has been
voted Ireland's ‘Best Wedding Stationery Supplier’
by Irish brides and grooms.
The title was awarded by Real Weddings, an online
wedding forum where couples log on to discuss their
wedding plans and receive advice from others.
Creative Invites’ owner, Leanne Doohan, said she
didn’t even know about the competition until she got
a call saying her company had been nominated by the
forum’s users and was in the top four.
"Even that was a huge achievement. The final voting
process lasted a few weeks and I’m so proud that, in
November, the users of the forum voted us to first
place," said a thrilled Leanne. |
Leanne's creativity and
service to her customers was also recognised
recently in an online nationwide hunt for Ireland's
leading wedding suppliers. Creative Invites came out
in the top five.
Leanne added: "I am delighted that we scored so
highly across the range of criteria. Of course it is
essential to have an excellent product, but we pride
ourselves on our customer service. Often the
testimonials we receive from past customers refer as
much to dealing with us as they do to the actual
stationery itself!"
A newly-wed herself, Leanne |

is very active on
online wedding forums, giving advice to brides-to-be
on all aspects of wedding planning.
She holds a MSc in marketing practice from
Letterkenny Institute of Technology and says that
marketing is the reason for Creative Invites’
success.
"Marketing cannot be under-estimated or ignored. It
is so much more than just advertising. We are
constantly researching what our customers want and
the one thing that every bride wants is to show
their individuality," she added.
To mark its fifth year in business, the Buncrana
company has recently launched a DIY section on its
website for couples who want to make their own
wedding stationery. "With our range of materials
including snowflake crystals that cannot be bought
anywhere else, they don’t have to compromise on
quality by going for the DIY option," added Leanne. |
