MOVILLE Gospel Choir
are looking forward to their sell-out concert in the
town this coming Friday. Demand was so high,
requests for tickets quickly outstripped supply.
"The choir are delighted to report that all tickets
for the concert were sold out within a couple of
days of going on sale, leaving many disappointed,"
said a spokesperson yesterday. "But based on the
huge level of interest, a second concert could be on
the cards before the end of the year." The choir's
inaugural concert, to be held in the Caiseal Mara
Hotel, will last around one-and-half hours. It will
include a great mix of well-loved Gospel music as
well as some solo and ensemble performances from the
choir members supported by their band. People unable
to get tickets for this week's concert, can look
forward to hearing the new choir at the Blessing of
the Fleet in Greencastle in August and at the
Charles Macklin school in Culdaff in October. The
choir hopes everyone enjoys their first concert and
they look forward to resuming singing at Mass again
in September. For further information on the choir,
