MUSICIAN Jim Corr is
planning a return to "beautiful Buncrana" after a
recent flying visit to see a local acupuncturist and
martial arts expert.
The Corrs' guitarist was in town for a consultation
with Kim McMenamin of the Natural Health Centre at
Millfield. Kim and Jim's meeting came about after
the local Chinese medicine practitioner sent the
Louth-born songwriter some articles on alternative
health remedies. |

The musician caused
more than a few heads to turn when he landed his
Robinson R44 Raven 2 helicopter in the Inishowen
Gateway Hotel car park where he also stayed for the
night. Kim says the famous visitor was stunned by
the beautiful scenery as he flew over Fahan Hill en
route from Belfast.
"Jim was also delighted with |
the great hospitality
afforded to him by the staff at the Gateway hotel
and especially for accommodating his helicopter. He
also thanked the Gardai for keeping an eye on it,"
said Kim. During his flying visit, Corr also
commented on a very enjoyable meal at the Beach
House restaurant at Buncrana pier. He is now already
planning his return trip, said Kim.
"He hopes to come back to the area soon for follow
up treatments as well as maybe some private martial
arts lessons." |
