Knives out in Ballyliffin cook-off

THE KNIVES are out in
Ballyliffin as contestants line up to be named
Inishowen Masterchef. The contest being run at the
Linx restaurant at Ballyliffin Golf Club, saw the
first of three finalists named at the weekend as Ann
McNicholl. Ann beat off tight competition from
fellow cooks, Des Kelly and Paul Fagan to go through
to the final. |
Masterchef challenger
number two, will be chosen on April 17 between
Captain Vincent Lynn, Charlie Gibbons Jnr and Anna
Doherty (T). The third finalist, meanwhile, will be
named on April 24 when Ali Farren, Janine Strong and
secretary Michael Grant don the hat and apron. The
date for the final 'cook off' is still to be
confirmed.
