Sales seminars for local
businesses

DONEGAL businesses are
being invited to learn how to boost sales using
online marketing in a series of seminars being held
in Letterkenny later this month.
The sessions will be delivered by Moville's Michael
White of DohertyWhite, a leading digital marketing
and PR consultancy with offices in Dublin and
Letterkenny Institute of Technology. Michael will
outline how local companies can use digital
marketing, PR and social media like LinkedIn,
Twitter and YouTube to promote their products and
services at a low cost. |

“Digital marketing can
transform sales for small businesses. I’ll be
demonstrating how tools like email and online PR can
be used to drive up sales and revenue at little or
no cost," said Michael.
A Trinity computer graduate, Michael is co-founder
and partner at DohertyWhite and was previously head
of marketing at Singularity, a €20m software firm.
He also held senior positions with Siemens, Deloitte
& Touche and Misys Corporation.
His upcoming seminars will demonstrate how to
structure a website to generate sales; describe how
you can best use Google |
pay-per-click ads and
search engine optimization. He will also describe
the do's and don'ts of running email marketing
campaigns. The first event will be hosted by
Letterkenny Chamber of Commerce on October 28 at
