There was great fun when the Easter Bunny hopped in to see the children of Greencastle Community Childcare Centre recently. At the launch of Furey Insurances 5K road running series 2009 were from left, Jackie McGinley, Derry Spartans, Sean Furey, managing director, Furey Insurances, Brian Downing - president of the Northern Ireland Athletics Federation, Dara Furey, director Furey Insurances, Stephen Street, UU Magee sport and recreation officer, Robert Bigger, sponsor and Greg Roberts, Derry Spartans. These two hardy souls gritted their teeth for an excruciating leg wax in Coyle's Bar, Newtown in aid of Childline. The shins are the worst! Ouch...one of the locals who took the pain for charity during the Childline Barman Leg Wax in Newtown. Nearly €2,300 was raised in Coyle's pub, Newtown, when all these brave participants put their feet (and legs) forward for the National Barman Leg Wax in aid of Childline. Pictured at the Buncrana launch of the annual Easter Lily campaign are Diana Fullerton, widow of Cllr Eddie Fullerton, Mary McLaughlin, widow of volunteer, Reamonn MacLochlainn and Sinn Féin representatives from across Inishowen. Buncrana's budding Brian O'Driscolls...the Crana U14 team members who took part in the recent Donegal Rugby Blitz. Carndonagh Community School U14s who were crowned Donegal Super 20s Champions 2009. Moville's U15 girls' rugby team who recently took part in the Donegal Rugby Blitz.
