"People may not be
aware that under the animal welfare legislation, it
is an offence to dump animals in situations and
circumstances that are likely to cause unnecessary
suffering," the ISPCA's Kevin McGinley told the BBC
this week.
Speaking on radio this week, Redcastle's Ann Marie
Orr said the ongoing problem was upsetting her young
children. "They don't understand why, when you go
down the road, there's a cat lying dead but
hopefully it will stop," she said. |
