Mr. Kearney explained: "The young writers wrote hundreds of pieces of prose and poetry and contributed many of the pieces for readings and publication. The evolving online book, 'Notes', will serve to promote the young people as writers, to provide them with a public voice, and for the public to join with ourselves and other supporters to acknowledge and congratulate the writers for picking up their pens and sharing their thoughts, experiences and imaginings with us all."
