Donegal man new eBay boss 22.09.08
THE world's leading
online marketplace eBay has announced the
appointment of Donegal man Gareth Davis as managing
director of its Irish operations.
Davis takes over this role as eBay.ie boss from John
McElligott, who is moving to a global position
within eBay. |
Letterkenny-born Davis
worked as an engagement manager with McKinsey & Co,
in New Jersey prior to his joining eBay. At
McKinsey, he led a number of business strategy and
implementation projects for companies across the
consumer goods, healthcare, travel, food and
beverage industries.

Economics from Trinity
College, Dublin and a doctorate in Economics from
George Mason University, Virginia. He also holds a
Masters of Business Administration from the Darden
Graduate School of Business Administration at the
University of Virginia. |
