DONEGAL County Council
and the National Parks and Wildlife Service will
officially launch the Inch Levels Woodland Education
and Recreation area at Inch next week.
Children from second class at St. Aengus National
School, Bridgend, will undertake one of the many
curriculum-based education programmes available to
primary and secondary schools as part of the launch
at 2pm on Monday, June 16.
The new education and recreation area includes a
woodland trail, educational and tourism
interpretative panels and picnic benches.
The area aims to promote nature and wildlife to
school groups and the general public alike.
Directions to the new trail: Take the Slab Road at
Burt and continue for approximately 500m until the
90° right hand bend. Continue straight for around
1km until you reach the Pump House car park. For
