THE LIFESAVING crew of
the Lough Swilly Lifeboat are expecting a good turn
out tomorrow night (Thursday, March 6) in Buncrana
for their popular annual charity concert.
Organiser Liam Grant has put together a great
programme of national and local artists who will
perform free for this worthy cause. |

James Kilbane who shot
to popularity after he reached the finals on the
'You're a Star' TV show is on the bill along with
the Duets, Seamus McGee and local performers such as
Mickey Doherty; Deirdre Bonner and the Donna Elliot
School of Dancing.
The packed programme also includes the Bard of
Armagh Patsy O'Hagan and the Gateway Civic Choir
conducted by John Peoples.
The concert will be compered by Packie Keeney of
Highland Radio. The concert is now nearing its 20th
year and pulls in crowds of up to 400 people. |
"It's always a good
night's craic. Everyone should come along on the
night. You'll be guaranteed a great night," Liam
told the 'Inishowen Independent'.
The concert kicks off at 8pm in the Inishowen
Gateway Hotel and tickets are just €10 and can be
purchased at the door. |
