€40,000 windfall for
school libraries

TWO Inishowen schools
have been awarded more than €40,000 each to enhance
their library facilities.
Moville Community College will get €48,000 while St.
Egney's N.S., Desertegney will receive €40,600. |

The €88,000 spend in
Inishowen is part of more than €164,000 to be shared
among five schools around Donegal.
Fianna Fáil Deputy, Niall Blaney TD welcomed the
funding confirmed to him by Education Minister Mary
Hanafin TD.
He particularly welcomed the |
funding for Donegal
North East schools including Letterkenny, Moville,
and Buncrana.
The Little Angels Special School in Knocknamona,
Letterkenny is to receive €15,000.
“The funding has been made available from the
Dormant Accounts Fund and RAPID Leverage Fund.
“I am delighted that these schools have been
successful in achieving these grants.
“Enhanced library facilities will add considerably
to the educational experience of the students
attending the schools,” he said. |
