Rural exchanges in
Quigley’s Point, Greencastle, Fahan and Muff, will
be enabled for broadband in the coming months.
Inishowen-based Deputy Cecilia Keaveney T.D.,
explained the development:
“I have been lobbying hard on this issue for some
time and I continue to receive daily enquiries on it
from constituents. Having been in contact with
eircom at the highest level, I have been informed
that there is an ongoing investment plan for the
current year to upgrade rural exchanges for
broadband.”
