Buncrana gears up for big
trade show
09.10.07
BUNCRANA Chamber of
Commerce is busy this week putting the finishing
touches to its upcoming trade show.
The two-day fair takes place this weekend - October
13 and October 14 - in The Plaza and is expected to
attract hundreds of people from throughout the North
West. Buncrana Chamber manager Deirdre Bradley said
the event will be even bigger than last year. |
"We have 58 businesses
taking part this year compared to 48 last year.
There appears to be a slight change too in the
exhibitors taking part," she explained. "Last year,
we had a large number of people who work from home -
people who don't have a shop window or shop front.
"This year however, we have a good number of service
providers taking stands as well as garden centres,
artists, designers, beauty salons and restaurants
who want to let people know about their Christmas
party nights and menus etc." |

People who go along
will be able to buy products from the various stands
including gift vouchers from the Chamber stand.
Visitors can also have lunch and refreshments such
as sandwiches, teas and coffees that will be on sale
over the two days.
Two stands are still available to be snapped up by
any business who would like the opportunity to
display their wares to a large audience. The fee is
just €200 for the two days. If you would like to
find out more about the event or the last remaining
stands, contact Deirdre on 93 21720 or 086 3858633. |
