Burt set for celebrity wedding

THE border village of
Burt will get out the bunting tomorrow for the
wedding of local millionaire PJ McDermott to his
model fiance Natasha Nic Gairbeith.
The day will begin with Mass at St. Mary's Church in
Natasha's native Gaoth Dobhair followed by a lavish
reception around 5pm at An Grianan Hotel, Burt,
which is co-owned by the groom-to-be. |

The marriage was
postponed in tragic circumstances in April after the
deaths of PJ's niece Ciara Dunne, her two little
girls and husband, in their Wexford home. Locals are
hoping tomorrow's nuptials will signal the beginning of
happier times for the celebrity couple, who live in
a luxury mansion close to the hotel.
More than 300 guests are |
expected to attend the
wedding with even more guests invited for the
evening entertainment.
"I'm sure it will be a lovely affair. Natasha will
be gorgeous," said one well-wishing local, who said
details of her wedding gown were being kept under
wraps until the big day.
And if the forecasters are right, the weather should
stay dry, if not particularly sunny, for the former
Miss Ireland and her dashing groom. |
