INISHOWEN'S new funding
and development company will elect its committee of
officers next week at the first full meeting of the
new board.
The meeting will take place at the Ballyliffin Lodge
and Spa on Monday, December 10 with the full board
unveiled to the public at 8.30pm. It will include
the recently-elected community representatives as
well as those nominated by statutory and social
partner organisations such as the Vocational
Education Committee (VEC), the Irish Farmers'
Association (IFA), Irish Congress of Trade Unions (ICTU)
and Donegal County Council. The new development
company has been formed from the merger of two
existing bodies: the Inishowen Partnership Company (IPC)
and Inishowen Rural Development Limited (IRDL). The
company’s new board will elect a chairperson,
secretary and treasurer at Monday's meeting. |
