Donegal County Council
has a new Sinn Féin councillor in the person of Mary
Therese Gallagher.
Ms. Gallagher, from
Dungloe, will be co-opted to the local authority
following her selection to replace former councillor
and now senator, Pearse Doherty.
Senator Doherty took his seat in the Seanad earlier
this week.
Ms. Gallagher was one of two candidates in the
running for the seat.
